How long will the process take?
The time frame can vary depending on the type of claim, its complexity, and the specific government agency involved. Typically, the claims process takes between 3 to 12 months once the claim is filed.
After receiving all necessary paperwork, your Recovery Specialist will give you a more accurate estimate based on the details of your claim.
We’ll do everything possible to expedite the process. However, many government agencies have no legal deadlines requiring them to release funds within a certain timeframe meaning the asset holder ultimately controls how quickly the funds are disbursed.
Rest assured: We operate strictly on a contingency fee basis we only get paid if (and when) we successfully recover your money.
Is there a time limit to claim any lost or unclaimed funds?
In most cases, yes there are deadlines you must meet.
Every claim is unique, and different asset holders are regulated by different laws. Many of the assets we locate have strict time windows in which a claim must be filed. After that window closes, some asset holders are legally allowed to absorb the unclaimed funds permanently.
